Insaniyat an NGO for rural poor was established in 1996 and registered in Gujranwala district as a non profit organization aimed at rural uplift with special focus on rural development activities, addressing problems of women, children and disadvantaged groups, good governance and special attention to human rights violations.

Formation of this NGO has been motivated by the fact that improved production technology for major crops is already available which is capable of doubling the farmers yields, provided the information is effectively communicated to them and timely supply of guanine products for recommended input is ensured.

The overall purpose of INSANIYAT is to improve the quality of life of the rural poor through increase in their net income by facilitating adoption of improved production technologies.
